Voyant International - Foresight and Adaptability: Creating its Own Market Share in the Digital World

As our society becomes increasingly dependant upon technology we feel it now, more than ever, that it is our responsibility to further examine an industry with such potential and promise for seemingly guaranteed growth. This being the case, we have recently begun to focus our efforts on a company who has recently signed a former Senior Vice President of Apple to lead operations of one of its subsidiaries. Voyant International Corporation (VOYT:OTCBB) is a company now thriving in the booming technology sector.

Voyant
, as a leader of its four business units, strives to provide commercial and consumer solutions to our technologically dependant world. Regardless if technology is your sector of interest or not, you owe it to yourself, as an investor, to thoughtfully consider this report. In so doing, we hope also that you may begin your own research of this industry whose importance is ever-growing.

Voyant’s Subsidiary: RocketStream Data Transfer Accleration

Voyant’s
first business unit that we will be examining is its RocketStream Inc. subsidiary. This company is drawing the attention of major industry professionals and has recently signed a very impressive deal. RocketStream is in the business of transporting files in cyberspace by providing a product which replaces FTP (File Transfer Protocol) with more efficient and more powerful protocols. RocketStream has 2 proprietary protocols, known as the RocketStream Protocols. The first is based on UDP (its basic technological fundamentals have existed for over 10 years). RocketStream has added to the original UDP and created their own proprietary version of this UDP protocol which accelerates the transfer of data files. RocketStream’s second protocol is known as PDP, which is also a proprietary protocol owned solely by RocketStream.

Three products comprise the current RocketStream suite: Uplink, Station and Server. In a nutshell, RocketStream’s protocols allow for the transport of large data files in an extremely effective and cost efficient way.

Who will benefit from RocketStream’s innovation? Anyone who requires the ability to send and receive large data files over long distances. This technology pertains to a variety of industries and needs. The entertainment world, medical professions (particularly medical imaging), financial services, software producers and even military sectors will all benefit. The demand for this specific innovation and technology will only increase.

Voyant
made an announcement less than two weeks ago which moved us to immediately begin researching their technologies and product lines with great consideration. The company announced the appointment of Jay Elliot as the new General Manager of Software Products and Services. Our team was very impressed after learning of Mr. Elliot’s history and that he has established himself as a technology icon in the Silicon Valley. He has more than thirty years’ experience with some of the largest and most successful technology companies of our time. He has served as Senior Vice President of Operations for Apple Computer where he oversaw the development of the original Macintosh software (which in turn raised Apple’s revenue from $150 million USD to over $2 billion USD). Mr. Elliot further served as Director for IBM’s 16,000 employee Santa Teresa software lab. He later served as a Director of Intel’s California operations.

In his newly appointed role as President of RocketStream, we recently had the pleasure of speaking with Mr. Elliot. During our conversation we asked him a few questions which are listed below.

Re: Voyant International - Foresight and Adaptability

For the company to break out, it needs to successfully commercialize 2 out of the 3 mentioned technologies. They are very very close with RocketStream with most of their current revenue coming from that division.

The Wireless technology is in a close second place as there is still a lack of clarity about the $2 Million sale. Who is the mystery buyer? Is it just the tip of the iceberg?

I think the Aviation broadband is farthest away from making an impact on the top line. There is a strong competitor already signing contracts (Aircell) so we've already lost first-mover advantage -- although the fast-follower is often much more successful in the long-run (witness Microsoft with Windows 95, Apple with the iPod, Google with it's search engine, etc.).

This company holds the second largest percentage of my portfolio so I have a strong belief that it will be successful within 6 to 12 months.
