Government Intervention in the Economy: Not the Answer

Pinnacle Digest writes: The answer to every problem is not government intervention in the economy and multi-billion dollar committee's and initiatives. Bill Frezza, a diehard free market supporter and small government advocate, explains the dangers of such intervention in his most recent article titled "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me ten thousand times, shame on me."


The government believes the best way to solve any problem is to spend hundreds of billions of tax payer dollars only to later change their mind on how it should have been spent.

Years ago we were told the poor did not have enough to eat. As a response, government programs were initiated which created more problems.

Years ago we were told the poor lacked the necessary access to computers. Now it is too much computer time that is the culprit for poor peoples' struggle. The governments have become the opportunists of our society. If an opening or an excuse to do a study, and employ themselves for a few months arises, they jump on it.

Bill pleads with the American people to remember what made America the greatest country in the world. Was it not the force of millions of independent freedom loving men and women exploring and excelling by taking chances?

The pile of bureaucracy regulation we live under is getting thicker. It is time for people to begin thinking for themselves once again - without the government zombie mega phone drowning out our thoughts. If we fail to do so, our future will be as bleak as those across the Atlantic.
