My point was that I really don't care what Eastwood or Oprah etc,etc, say. That doesn't mean I don't think they're very smart,they are. They are also living in a much different world than most of us .

Why don't you ask  Ron Paul  what a fiscal conservative is  ?  He is.   Your naive if you believe Republicans in any way are fiscal conservatives. They only became "fiscally aware" ,because they were politically motivated. 

I've never claimed Democrats were not  Crony Capitalists.,but CC's are  far more attached to the Old Boys network in business  and that IS Republican.  All these  so called "Right Wing " politicians with the very few exceptions (like Ron Paul),are  claiming  the mantra of  fiscal conservatives and most certainly  ARE  part of a system of crony capitalists .Most are too stupid or too  gutless to actually do their job and serve the people.

Your last statement is what I've been saying for years. That is after all ,what being liberal minded is

I'm not anti Clint or anti -conservative. I think  a lot of you people  who believe in Conservatism as an ideaology don't realize that  what they were trying to  conserve was, "classic liberalism". Today's Republicans have no connection on any level to classic liberalism.  The Democrats at least  show some liking to classic liberalism in the civil liberties ,although I would agree,that's very limited and  are as bad as Republicans  in fiscal responsibility issue's.

I guess people should listen to what Clint says,after all he was a Mayor of a wealthy California town. His  monumental success was that he got rid of a law that  banned  consuming ice cream cones in public . Congratulations on that.

Eastwood claims he's libertarian ,yet also says he is a social liberal ( a.k.a.  Socialist) and also a fiscal conservative  (a.k.a. Crony Capitalist).  Really doesn't sound like  he's a libertarian but then again the tea party people claim ,they're libertarians and are just about as confused. 

Politically Eastwood is all over the place. Sometimes, I guess  that's not really a bad thing . He has supported Democrats in California ,was against Korea ,Vietnam ,Iraq and Afghanistan wars ,yet votes for McCain.  Romney has almost no views shared with Clint prior but like so many of the wealthy ,they're all of a sudden concerned about deficit spending . I wonder why ?

I like his movies and believe he is a smart guy but  supporting McCain who in turned selected  historically the worst candidate in history  to be his running mate  has lost  political  validation  for Clint ,so  he went where  he would be appreciated ,"Romney".  Trying to pick a candidate that is closer to his claim of a  libertarian  root ,(called Mitt Romney )is just laughable.

It was great issue to watch, and various mind thinking.It bothered me for several days what was I missing.."Clint said,
the country belongs to us , the people, we own it" So very true. ..You'll never get a polition to say that..
As remainds
