no one can go lower. this guy won the limbo 4 years running.. I don't think he'll get a chance to win again. It will be up to the republicans and they don't exactly have the best record either when it comes to deficit reduction.
Re: Where is President Obama on the accountability ...
That system has proven to NOT work. How much competition do you really believe could occur with many of the same people owning or manipulating stock in several of the large insurance carriers.? How do you account for the 35% Adminisration costs.? Do you think that will get better? Nobody wants government to control anything but when there is an industry that has proven to be corrupt,we have no choice. This is not a matter of opinion .The health insurance industry is corrupt and has been for years. If healthcare proffesionals want to opt out of public funding ,that's fine by me.Plenty of wealthy people around the world and here in the U.S. that will keep clinics ,research centers and even spa's going better than ever.Wealthy people DO NOT need health Insurance. I would encourage private clinics but all people have to support the government funded healthcare so the burden of the poor is evenly distributed throughout society. Did you recall I said how Medicare is run very well ,usually at 10% Administration costs versus private?Where would this society be without it?
Re: Where is President Obama on the accountability ...
As far as health care goes they should have open the state lines so I could buy my health insurance from any insurance company. Competition is the best way to lower costs. Giving money away and saving companies that should be bankrupt shouldn't be done with other peoples money. Get rid of big government and the American people will take care of the needy.
Re: Where is President Obama on the accountability ...
Obama entered his Presidency with hope and change. The hope was that the public were able to comprehend a healthcare system initiative that would go towards actually lessening the amount of money spent on healthcare,.in the long term. America spends more per capita than any other country worldwide yet have 20% of the population without insurance and untold millions more that have insurance that is inadaquate. The change was stopped by narrow vision and rhetoric, catch phrases and bombardment by lobbyists of so called socialist healthcare and how it would destroy the country.Meanwhile the largest bail outs in corporate history (corporate socialism) were in fact orchestrated almost to the entirety of the previous administration. I said a long time ago,Obama's vision of hope and change came into substance at very possibly the worst time since the great depression. He was unable to pursuade the public (thanks to the greatest effort in lobbying in history) and the fact that the American public is too short sighted to fully comprehend how important it was to pass his original single payer healthcare plan. Anyone who understands economics knows that manufacturing has to increase greatly in the U.S. and without a working class that is insured, it puts too much burden on potential new manufacturing enterprises. We need a strong ,healthy workforce, that can concentrate on building their own wealth ,not the wealth of insurance companies who's agenda is to make money off the backs of the middle class ,plain and simple . Administration is 35% of healthcare costs with private insurers (and rising) .Medicare is about 3-5%. Obama did not blame the past Administration for it's short comings until Republicans ,in an attempt to take over both houses of Congress ,started rewriting history.I can't blame Obama for simply setting people straight.Unfortunately,he waited too long . I think the authors accountability ladder is right out of the lobbyist handbook and made to infer that Obama is the reason this country is in such a mess.I completely disagree.

He's somewhere in between excuses and complete oblivion. His expectations are somewhat insane as the US economy is no where near healthy enough to fund any of his wild dreams.. yes we can leave out the back cause obama is a dead man walking..
