The TSX Venture Exchange is no longer just for Penny Mining Stocks
My focus has always been mainly on the junior precious metal stocks as was the makeup of the Venture Exchange mainly consisting almost exclusively of the penny miners. This year however, they have more than once found themselves playing second fiddle to emerging Canadian tech stocks and the huge trading volume and increase in values gives credence to my statement. One of the best ways top keep on top of these companies and their activities is the CANTECH LETTER as I have stated many times and it has paid off for me in spades. I originally parked some of my money in these plays looking to make some gains while waiting for the shine to return to the junior golds. The 20% I put in turned into 80%, I do believe We are in the embryo stage of this phenomenon. I will once again urge readers pay particular attention to information provided in the Cantech Letter which features these companies and it is free. Currently they are running a little contest on 10 of these high volumet trading juniors. There is probably more than one ten bagger among these potential ten baggers. http://www.cantechletter.com/2012/02/tech-revival-meet-the-high-volume-t...

Maybe We can talk about these if we meet at the PDAC. Oil and Gas stocks are not my strength, so I will have to use extreme caution and invest only a limited amount of funds
Re: The TSX Venture Exchange is no longer just for ...
For the next 6 months or so I think it will be profitable to invest in junior oil and gas companies and in particular the fracking and oil well service companies.
Recent purchases; New Zealand Energy, NZ; Porto Energy PEC-V; Adira Energy, ADL-V; with major holdings off Israeli Coast in much shallower water than the better know Leviathan not yet well known but come highly recommended by a key executive of other well known juniors.
Also highly recommended is Trianagle Petroleum TPLM /Amex.
Portfolio holdings that are doing well; Africa Oil, AOI-V; Aroway Energy ARW-V, (Pinnacle pick)!
Other portfolio holdings worth researching for a good entry point would include, Bowood Energy BWD-V, Brownstone Energy BWN-V; DEETHREE Exploration DTX and Vanoil Energy Van-V
Speculative; Blackbird Energy BBI-V Mgmt so positive they take no salary! Unusual to say the least.
TOP 10 in trading volume on the Venture; Arcan Resources ARN, Pinecrest Energy PRY, Africa Oil, Sterling Resources SLG, Petrolia PEA, Shamaran Petroleum SNM, Petromagdalena Energy PMD, Novus Energy NUS, Painted Pony Petroleum PPY, America's Petrogas BOE, not recommending any of them, just providing the information to do your own due diligence.

Thanks Frank ,I really should invest in more than just resource stocks. Warren Buffet says ,invest in what you know. I guess I really have to KNOW more about tech stocks, because beyond some knowledge of RIMM,APPL,MSFT and GOOG,I know nothing. Oh yes I know I lost a lot on YAHOO!
Re: The TSX Venture Exchange is no longer just for ...
nice post. It can be tough to diversify on the venture but is needed. I do think the 10 bagger potential for the most part lies in the junior precious metals field and not the tech sector. It is important to diversify however.

Thanks ohjay, I think I will create a little portfolio made up of a basket of Canadian Venture Exchange emerging and including overlooked tech stocks. ZED is another one that I have overlooked but will check it out. The majority of my winners have been from suggestions made by members. Keep em coming,.
