T Boone Pickens -Energy Plan -

It would be interesting to see TB Pickens chosen as the next Energy CZAR. It would also further boost (Clean Energy , CLNE) a company he founded and is the largest stockholder of.

He has promoted his plan to government for a 20% reduction in foreign energy dependence in two years. No other public or private person has promoted a short term mitigation of the dyer effects caused by our rapidly escalating fuel prices.

His plan centers around a Huge Wind farm he is erecting in Northern Texas for domestic electric, as well as CLNE which promotes the use o nonpolluting, abundant, Nat. Gas for use in transportation.

He has a Honda GX and a Nat Gas storage tank in his garage. He claims no power sacrifice and pays the equivalent of $1.59 per gallon, recently during a CNBC interview.  Nancy P., Speaker of the house, bought 22,000 shares of CLNE in May, so you can guess that the word has spread through Congress. 

JMHO, but I think Pickens spending $60M in the last 4-6 week for a National ad blitz to promote his plan is also telling.

BOL :  Imo it is a very interesting stock.  I have owned since July but I think it is destined to do well.
