Captured your opening comment from your post. Great advice Cypress. Having read almost everything there is out there on MEO, I couldn't agree with you more. Looks as though there could be an intervention on the part of Pinnacle in the near term.

Jamster, true to MEO's form, what the $800k refers to is unclear. What is clear is that all past bills for JB#2 have been paid up by the partners, as are JB#3 and 4. Maybe the $800k is for JB#5.
As for your overall satisfaction, sorry, you're not that high on my priority list. Is the bag of hammers for some IQ test you took?

You are so true to form. In your post to me and Cypress you must have forgotten to include the next sentence with the outstanding monies $800,000 owed by a JV Partner. The MD&A document is quoted below. I just guess who didn't have room to fit it in your post eh?? I'm also waiting patiently for you to satisfy my curosity regarding the questions that were presented to you in my post your way last night. The bag of hammers are ready to hit the floor. I can hear the rattling as I'm finishing this post. Too funny
"On March 4, 2008, Montello spud the Morgan Highpoint #3 Test Well. On March 5, 2008 the Company announced funding was in place to cover costs for the John Bowen #2, and drilling of the Morgan Highpoint #3 and #4 Test Wells. The outstanding monies included USD $800,000 owed by a JV Partner to cover off contract service providers."

I hate dating myself....but I met Lenny Bruce and also the other Lenny - the legendary Lenny Breau. I was quite young (14), but was hanging around the jazz clubs in Toronto. Bruce was in Buffalo and came across the line to party with Don Francks.
As to going public on the whole BC saga - another time, but I do know a lot of the story and I can say this - in this one particular slice of life it is totally black and white.

Oh come on! You know this guy is in the tank for those blooters from Austin. Well, either that....or he's not a fan of either reality or Bill Cawker. But he sure is funny and I'm pleased he is here.
As to Cal causing any negative spillage onto the trading floor.....it ain't gonna happen. Comedy is comedy, and although we might laugh at someone like Lenny Bruce, we'd be aghast at the thought of taking him to the office.

Judging from your quote above on last post to Cypress, Cal indulge my curiosity by answering a couple of my questions. Who in fact was the CEO of both MEO and AUL leading up to Bill Cawker taking over the reigns of MEO to plot a course for MEO in TN?? Who was in fact holding tight control over both companies during this transition process prior to the spud date?? And finally, who had their own hand picked people on site for the longest time prior to the restructuring process initiated by Bill Cawker?? Very easy questions Cal aren't they?? Door #1?, Door#2?, Door#3?, or Door#4? DUH!!

The drought is over, and we have just a snippet of information.
They still haven’t got the JB #2 tested. The NR tells us that agreement by the partners was done in May – ahead of schedule, but why not agree to it, they were drilling #2 under-balanced and testing all the way down. Then is took over 2 months to get a “no brainer” AFE signed.
Still no logging and test information on JB#3,4 &5.No news on JB#6
A land deal? Nothing done there either
