Baja - Mine of the future

I have been holding Baja for the better part of a year and a half and the story just keeps getting better. With the overall market down Baja, too, has suffered. It is very cheap now and I think I will pick up about 8000 more over the next week or so.

Re: Baja - Mine of the future

Chadstew,

You are smart to be a fan of this company. I am as well and have been for quite some time. Many years of experience in the mining stocks has pointed me to deals like BAJ. The timing to be involved in this company is great. 2009 production is expected, the property is in a miining friendly region, feasabilty studies are complete which differentiates it from the 1000's of other juniors. It would be nice to see Pinnacle select them.

Chadstew... I can appreciate your enthusiasm towards Baja, from what i've heard so far it is a decent little company, but watch the wild statements, you contradict yourself in the above post, nothing but upside... downside is limited... haha, which is it my friend, obviously you are heavy into this deal and from good reason it seems, let share some of the nitty gritty on this deal, show me some numbers, much appreciated

Re: Baja - Mine of the future

Hi Ulando, Perhaps my 'richest in the world' comment was a bit of exaggeration, but it most certainly is an investment with nothing but upside. May not be the richest in the world but is certainly world class, certainly more than enough profit potential to make a hefty investment in. Of course, there is risk but with the management team they have in place and the work they have done to this point I believe that the downside is limited.

Re: Baja - Mine of the future

Baja is a a critical time as far as establishing themselves at these prices. Bids are weakening. Copper, fortunately, is white hot right now and the biggest mine on earth has their workers going on strike as we speak. A violent one at that. I like Baja at these prices, I don't love them. Good enough for a flyer if you got some extra cash kicking around.

Re: Baja - Mine of the future

sounds interesting Chadstew,

is the reason for "mine of the future" title because it resides in clay. I find that very strange, what basis are you basing the richest copper mine in the world comment on?

I'm going to do some dd on these guys,

Re: Baja - Mine of the future

The buyout rumour is there because it is a property with unbelievable economics. They are within a year or so of operations and the property is extremely rich in copper with other valuable minerals as a bonus. The reason this property has not been mined before is because it is a clay like deposit that the technology for mining has not existed until now and Baja has spearheaded that so they can get to this resource. They have done test digs and test mining operations all were very successful.

I cannot remember the numbers off the top of my head but i seem to recall a number similar to 500 million in profit once everything is scaled up. That is major dough. About 2.5 dollars a share. This will be the richest copper mine in the world by the sounds of it.

I generally invest in stories and management. The management team for Baja is second to none. everyone is top notch and they keep adding valuable contributors.

Just my 2 bits.
