Cerro Del Gallo - today and tommorrow

A quick question in the most recent press release they state that:

The updated mineral resource estimate now contains 1.1 billion pounds of copper, 3.9 million ounces of gold, and 163 million ounces of silver in the Measured and Indicated Mineral Resources.

But in the company summary at the bottom of the news release they state that:

This work quickly identified several targets and has led to the delineation of a NI 43-101 Mineral Resource of 1.4 billion pounds of copper, 4.5 million ounces of gold, and 200 million ounces of silver.

Which is it??? This resource is quite amazing, I understand they are attempting to expand it and begin metalurgical work - with a $10 million dollar program,

how much $$$ does this company have in the bank - will they need another financing??

The offer is still only a few thousand shares. The old offers are nowhere to be found.

It is all about CDG -

The Brisbane-based explorer wants Intermet to consider a wide range of development scenarios for Cerro del Gallo, which contains more than 11.09 million gold equivalent ounces in 454 million tonnes of mineralisation grading 0.33grams per tonne gold, 12gpt silver and 0.10% copper.

Kings managing director Dudley Leitch told MiningNews.net that output of 300,000 to 800,000 gold equivalent ounces was possible, with a decision yet to be made on whether to initially develop a higher grade portion of the deposit.

Processing routes potentially involve the production of a gold-silver dore via cyanide leach plus a copper concentrate from a flotation circuit.

He said the project was well situated with regards to transport and power infrastructure, being located 14km to a railway and 11km to a major power grid.

Kings, which is capitalised around $A66 million, is the latest explorer-cum-miner in Mexico that has made the news in the past week.

On Friday, Glamis Gold unveiled a friendly $C1.2 billion scrip deal for Western Silver Corp on the basis of its Penasquito gold and silver project – containing 333.9 million tonnes grading 0.58gpt gold and 29.5gpt silver for 6.04Moz of gold and 306.5Moz of silver.

A feasibility study late last year outlined a 50,000 tonne per day project costing an initial $US334 million ($A452.5 million) and having annual production of 193,000oz of gold and 12.9Moz of silver (as well as 176.3 million pounds of zinc and 81.8Mlb of lead).

Leitch told MNn that Cerro del Gallo is around six months behind Penasquito in terms of work completed.

Meantime, fellow ASX-listed Bolnisi Gold highlighted its recent drill success as it awaits a feasibility study that is expected to be completed in the middle of the next quarter. Bolnisi is eying a 10-year, 2 million tonne per annum development producing 110,000oz gold and 11Moz of silver from a 20Mt deposit grading 4.42gpt gold equivalent and previously mooted for start-up in early 2007.

Capital expenditure costs were estimated around $US50 million, while forecast cash costs were expected to be below $200/oz gold equivalent (for 300,000oz of gold equivalent production), or around $1/oz silver after gold credits.

Re: Cerro Del Gallo - today and tommorrow

The reason people started buying three weeks ago was not because of a substantial change in the company but a powerful newsletter writer overseas did a report on them. Did you not see it?

Re: Cerro Del Gallo - today and tommorrow

The bid support has fallen off. At least we are holding above 20.

Re: Cerro Del Gallo - today and tommorrow

We do seem to be trickling down. Look at the 50,000 shares at 22. There must have been a real reason everyone just began buying 3 weeks ago. And that is that Cerro is going into production, maybe in 2010 if we can get the money.

Re: Cerro Del Gallo - today and tommorrow

Samson. Never consider it 33 cents until that is what the bid tells you. If you can't sell it for that price it really means nothing.
