Make it personal: Don't be afraid to share your opinion on certain issues. Wether it is accepted or not, a genuine, honest and thought provoking blog leaves a lasting impression in your readers minds. Make it unique.

Make sure to respond to your readers: When you have other members comment on your blog be sure to respond to their questions. They are interested in what you have to say so be sure to respond in a timely manner.

Make sequels: Engage your audience and always follow up if developments occur in previous subjects you have written on.

Debate: Some blog readers want a place where they can have a good old fashioned debate.
