Thanks Frank. If there is one thing I have learned in investing is that good things take time. I still do like PJX and think they have something there. They will be another piece of proof backing up the thoery.
A well deserved win Schiff, but even nicer when it is not only a stock pick but one you have an investment in. Congratulations
Hi Lil,
Tough to watch INT these days. The majority of the selling came from Anonymous this week, so that's likely a big party bailing, or more likely more warrants being exercised. I have taken a peak back at the warrant levels and there are quite a few warrants out at 22 cents and 13 cents, so warrant holders are still making money at these levels. If this is indeed warrants holders selling to exercise their warrants, this is likely showing a good buying opp, if it's not than I suspect we trade down to 22 cents. If we look out 6-12 months from now, I would say this is a good buying opportunity.
Hi Schiff, INT is in freefall so what do you think would be the bottom? Need something positive from the Company.
Hi Lil, I hear ya on tough to keep the faith when INT keeps dropping. I do believe you're best to always have at least a small holding in that company as it tends to fly at any given time. Hopefully we're in for at least a dead cat bounce in the Venture in July and August. Nothing ever goes straight up or straight down, so the probability of a bounce in July is high in my opinion. Best of luck with your investments.
Hi Schiff, long time no talk. What is the latest with INT? Did you go to a meeting? Hard to remain positive when the price keeps dropping. Would appreciate your feedback.

PDAC 2012: Colombia eyes regulatory change, resolution on Eco Oro project
Peter Koven Mar 5, 2012 – 8:17 AM ET | Last Updated: Mar 5, 2012 8:21 AM ET
When the Colombian government delegation arrived at last year’s PDAC, their presence was overshadowed by an incident back home in which more than 20 workers with Talisman Energy Inc. were kidnapped.
This time around, the message from mining minster Mauricio Cardenas Santa Maria is that the country’s resource sector is booming like never before as safety continues to improve and the government makes some changes to its institutional framework for mining.
He noted that foreign investment in the mining and energy sectors topped US$12-billion last year, which was easily a record and a nearly 50% improvement on 2010. That is largely due to its emerging gold industry, which is only beginning to take off.
“We’re probably the largest recipient of FDI relative to GDP in Latin America today,” he said in an interview.
Improved security is obviously part of the reason for improvement. Mr. Cardenas said that the government’s total take from energy and mining is about US$10-billion a year, which is roughly equal to what it spends on security.
He took over as minister last fall, and is in the midst of implementing a plan that would reward concessions through a competitive tender process. Companies would submit bids, and whoever offers the best production share to the government would get the assets. Under existing rules, many people were granted title to assets and then did no work on them, instead just flipping them to someone else.
One controversy that continues to cloud Colombia’s mining sector involves Canadian firm Eco Oro Minerals Corp. (formerly Greystar Resources), which wants to build a mine in environmentally sensitive moorlands at high elevation. The project has been overwhelmed by local opposition, but Mr. Cardenas said it will be left to scientists to decide which projects in that region should go forward and which should not. He expects an answer from government biologists within a few months.
“It’s not going to be political, it’s not going to be ideological. It’s going to be scientific,” he promised.

Hi Goldbugger,
Sorry that I've now given the kiss of death to EOM if you own it. I've been running stone cold the last few months. The Colombian government is currently looking at rasing the Paramo limit (they indicated scientists would have a ruling over the next few months (that was said at start of March). If they were to do so, EOM has at least 10 million ounces (inferred), that could come into play. Now I don't think it'll be raised where all of them will come into play, but my hunch is it'll be raised to allow a chunk of them. Colombia is turning into a mining friendly jursidiction (new mining minister as of 2011), and you can bet the government wants revenues as a result of lifting the Paramo limit.
interesting stock selections for this month.. I've been tracking EOM for some time. Perhaps our new CEO will bring some of the luck from Lundin mining with him..

Hi Lil. Downside risk is minimal with LFD due to the takeout offer on the table. The reason why I think it is a good investment is because it looks to me like big institutional money are working the stock to accumulate as much as they can. My theory is they are looking to accumulate enough shares to force management to return a higher dividend home to shareholders. If that is the case then it is a deal at these values.
Hopefully that helps Lil. Let me know if you have any questions.
Hi Schiff, I noticed on Stockhouse you were commenting on Longford Energy (LFDEF). Do you feel this might be a good buy? Appreciate your feedback. Thanks and best of everything.
Hi Lil. I added some more SSS late today, as a cross trade went through late in the day. I will therefore say SSS. GAP's Ottawa Hospital Research Institute ovarian cancer results are expected within a couple weeks. Best of luck.
Hi Schiff, hope the New Year is finding you doing well. I am thinking to add some additional shares to my Portfolio. Of your two picks GAP and SSS. which one stands the best chance of making the fastest gains. I am 82 years old and not in for the long haul. Would appreciate your input.
Thanks
Nicely Done Lil. Hopefully we can keep on moving here. Ottawa Hospital Research Institute (OHRI) in vivo testing starts today! This testing at OHRI will lead to the final formulation of PharmaGap's ovarian cancer drug in which to proceed with filing for clinical trials with FDA in 2012. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Hi Andrew, just bought some more PHRGF (GAP) at .0645. Good volume today so we are ready for a big move. Happy Veterans Day.
Good morning Lil,
Will do my best to make that a good investment for you. Things that are upcoming based on our previous press releases....announcement of who will be our cGMP manufacturer....This will be a company who produces GAP-107B8 in mass quantities for clinical trials. This is slated to come out in November. The in vivo testing at OHRI (Ottawa Hospital Research Institute) will conclude in mid December and we will hear the results shortly there after. These will be interesting results as it's the first time PharmaGap has tested their liposomal formulation and their enhanced version of GAP-107B8 at OHRI. In the coming months we will be ready to announce the CRO who will be running phase I of clinical trials. I will keep you posted. All the best to your portfolio as well.
Happy Monday Andrew, I jumped aboard and bought some shares of PHRGF (GAP.V) today at .0595. Hope to see it make some gains soon and would appreciate any updates that don't make the News Releases. Best of everything in your stock holdings.
Good morning Liloptimist.
Currently there is in vivo testing taking place at OHRI (Ottawa Hospital Research Institute) under Dr. Vanderhyden. She is very prestitigious in her field of ovarian cancer and that is what the PharmaGap drug is going to be targeting in clinical trials. This testing will run until the middle of December. Typically in the past, pending test results have led to a rise in the share price over that time. No guarantees that this trend will continue. Also, this month PharmaGap will select the cGMP manufacturer to produce the drug in mass quantities in prep for filing for clinical trials next year. Hopefully that helps.
Hey Andrew, thanks for the update. I am 82 years old and a small time investor. Therefore, I am not looking for stocks to hold for the long term so I appreciate input from experienced investors. I took a look at your other pick VMS.V and put it on my Watch List. Any pertinent info would be appreciated.
Thanks
Hey Liloptimist. You are correct, not much volume today. Only 16,000 traded on Alpha and that's it. My most recent purchase was yesterday at 5.5 cents. Only $2000 worth though. Feel free to give me a ring at any time and I can give you some more info. 705-890-0897. First name Schiff, last name Knowsbest :). Just kidding, I go by Andrew.
Hi Schiff, was thinking of buying some PharmaGap but there was Zero activity today. Do you still recommend it as a buy at the current price? Would appreciate your input.
Hey Kramer,
Mr. Bryden (the largest shareholder) is backing the placement at 8 cents. Agreeing to buy it back at 8 cents at my choosing on March 31st, 2012. He continues to show his support for the company in bringing it to trials.
so you took down over 50% of the recent PP ?
Not a good feeling to be under water I bet.. as I am on almost all of my current positions. Biotech on the venture are not the most common plays out there. Good to know management has friends with deep pockets I guess. good luck.
Mr. Bryden (former owner of the Ottawa Senators) is the largest shareholder of PharmaGap with a stake of ~18%.
I will also fully disclose that I took $100,000 of the most recent private placement at 8 cents with a 3 year warrant at 12 cents.
Keep an eye on GAP.V. Looking to file for clinical trials in Q4 2012 for their cancer drug (GAP-107B8). I will fully disclose that I work for PharmaGap.
