Hey Lil,
PYN has been a disappointment to me but I think something may move once their results are announced. As you can see, I didn't pick it for this month's challenge.
I'm holding long.
TC
Hey Tai, long time no talk. Do you think this is a good time to add some shares of PYN? This has been one of your favorites and with the news of a pending merger with INT, might be a good time to add shares. Would appreciate your feedback
Thanks
Hi Bernard, Did you ever find out what was going on with SD? I have some or had some. Last I heard they were talking about a 10 for 1 vote. Anything new? Thanks, mjca
HI TC:
You know our feelings about PYN, but check out our blog and summary of potential on Destiny Media Technologies (DSY or DSNY) Loads of potential going forward. Feel free to post or give feedback on what you think about them. We value your opinion.
Thanks in advance...http://www.pinnacledigest.com/blog/mountaineer78/destiny-media-technologies#comment-41215
Yeah, I've been holding long on PYN, MIT, etc... for a long time and the only thing I can do right now is to keep holding... I know they will rocket up eventually.
TC:
PYN would be @ .50 if they had their U. S. listing which they are trying to get as we speak!
PYN has the IP that covers sending any kind of info to a mobile phone based on your location.
They teamed up with WiLan (huge Wifi patent portolfio now making hundreds of millions) and they will start knocking on doors (infringers).
Keep an eye on this one for when they get listed in the U. S., they will fly!!!!!!!!!
Well, since it's total carnage out there on the vultures exchange, I'm just gonna take an extended vacation from it all. All my investments are long term so I'm not really worried about short term fluctuations.
I get more out of watching porn than I do watching the markets these days.....
Hi Bernard, how have you been? Just wondering what you are expecting with MIT. It has been staying real flat. This was your 50 bagger so when do you think it will make a move.
Best of Luck
Well, looks like 16 cents has arrived for SCG and now I think it'll go down to around 12 cents. Gonna hold off a little longer before getting back in.
Hi Bernard,
Just returned from a week in Lake Tahoe and it was so good to hear from you. II appreciate the update. The market was a little rough on me but I am hanging in there and holding on to MIT. Looking for some positive results.
Warm Regards
Hi Liloptmist,
Thanks for your concerns. Since the markets are not doing too well, I've decided to take the summer off from worrying about my holdings and wait for September when things should be (hopefully) a little better.
I'm still very upbeat on all my holdings (OEI now AWH, MIT, PYN, SIO, CNY) with the exception of that POS company SD.v. In fact, I have not sold anything but bought a little more of PYN and MIT.
As for SCG, I haven't been following it since I sold it but I think it'll probably still go down another 4 cents afterwhich it will be ok in my opinion to get back in.
How's your portfolio holding up in this carnage ?
Hi Bernard, is everything o.k. with you as you are being very quite. What is the story on your pick OEI.V ? No activity for sometime. Also MIT not making any gains.
Regards
Greetings Tai, you sure have been quite. Are you still 80% invested in MIT anbd PYN? They have not shown any gains. Let's hear from you.
Regards
Hey Tai, why so quiet?
Greetings, when do you think we will start seeing some gains for MIT and PYN? Staying pretty flat.
Regards
A question for you, what are your projections for SCG.V? Would appreciate your input.
Thanks
Hi Taiwanese, things still not happening with MIT and PYN. I I would appreciate a heads up if you decide to reduce your 80% holdings in these two stocks. I hope we both have a good month.
Regards
You still have a good shot to win the June Challenge. You have strong faith in MIT and PYN with 80% of your holdings invested in them. I am a small time investor but I do hold shares in both of them and am considering some consolidation of my portfolio. SCG is coming back today but a little too late to help me win the challenge.
Good luck in your closing run.
MIT is just waiting for the closing of their acquisition. The funds are ready for it and by the looks of it today, it's going to start its run very soon so I may still be able to win this month's challenge ! I think the market was a bit confused by the reassignment of duties to the executives but in my opinion, it made perfect sense.
PYN is also set to run with their AGM today and Q1 report due today as well. I fully expect this one to start running by Thursday (or crash and burn if they have a bad report ha ha ha)
I've consolidated my personal holdings and PYN and MIT consist of about 80% !
I see you are sticking with MIT and PYN for July. Anything positive to report as the activity has slowed down? Still haven't made my picks but best of luck to you.
Happy Monday, what is the latest on MIT, as we had a brief surge and then fell back. Hopefully it and PYN will start moving up. I still have hope for SCG.
Warm Regards
I also own shares in PYN so I am hoping they both make big moves.
Ha ha ha. I think SCG is going to hover between the 60-70 cent range for the rest of June while PYN will have their financials out on June 22 when I see a spike into the finish of this month's Challenge. Good luck to you.
I just bought more shares of MIT so I hope the run continues. It looks like our battle in the Stock Challenge will ride on the growth or decline between PYN.V and SCG.V. Best of luck.
Hey thanks for the reply and all the info you provided. I will definitely do my own DD but thanks for the heads up on what could definitely be a winner.
Hi Alex,
I'm certainly no expert on picking stocks as am just an amateur. I like MIT because they have a regular revenue stream that's on contract and this can only go up as they sign more contracts. I lived and worked in the UAE for 6 months a few years ago and know that pretty much the entire Middle East have laws relating to paying foreign contract workers similar to those of the UAE which means their business have nowhere to go but up. Now, MIT has over 400,000 cards (once the latest deal closes) and they're forecasting over 500,000 cards by year end. The reload card business is extremely profitable although I don't know what the LTV per card is but do know that if they make $1 per card per month, you have $400k per month in revenue and now that they have finally closed their Canadian office and shed that expense, that $400k per month will result in significant profit. As well, oil producing countries in the Gulf have non indiginous workers for about 90% of their workforce which makes the potential market for MIT HUGE !
With only 84 mil shares outstanding and annual earnings of roughly 6 mil, and we use a PE multiple of say 10, this places the SP at around 71 cents per share. My 50 cent comment is my conservative estimate. Of course this should go much higher once MIT expands into other countries in the ME.
This is one company that I'm planning to keep for the long term and I fully expect a 20X return on my investment.
With all this said, please remember that I am an ABSOLUTE AMATEUR and will not be held responsible for whatever anybody does as a result from reading this post as I may be totally wrong like some of the other dogs that I have in my portfolio.
hey TaiwaneseChallenger,
I have been following your picks and postings for a while and look forward to learning more from you and the rest of the PD community.
I am just wondering what the scoop on MIT is? I have been looking, and it looks like a good company, but why do you think it will "explode" past 50 cents?
Thanks everyone for their nice comments.
I am personally very high on MIT and hold a decent amount of their shares. I originally got in at 10.5 cents then sold it when it shot up to 21 cents. Got back in at 12.5 and expect to keep it until it explodes past 50 cents which hopefully will be this month. I also expect PYN to do well this month when their numbers come out.
For the longer term, I really really like SIO.v and have a bunch of these as well.
Congratulations on being the first 2 time winner. Looking forward to any info you care to share on future stock picks.
Just got stopped out on INT and am looking at MIT, Mint Technology that you recommended. Hopefully it will be another winner. I am not an experienced trader, 81 years old, so would appreciate any help I can get.
Thank You
