Member ‘lindi’ Pulls Ahead in December 2020 Stock Challenge

Stock Challengers, we have officially crossed the halfway point for this month’s Stock Challenge! And with numerous players tripling their returns since the start of the month, things are beginning to heat up.

Today, member ‘lindi’ narrowly overtook first place with a return of 131.72%, pushing ‘SOBARS’ (131.29% return) into second place. Meanwhile, member ‘SoloFF’ (120.33% return) maintained their position in third.

Despite picking completely different stocks, Lindi and SOBARS are in virtual deadlock with only a fraction of a percentage separating them. Will we see another head-to-head battle like we did in December 2019 between members ‘Robert Kellerman’ and ‘Micronta’? We’ll have to wait until next week to find out…

Nass Valley Gateway Breaks Out While BioCardia Breaks Down

Nass Valley Gateway, a CBD product company, had the biggest breakout today after rising 20% from C$0.18 to C$0.21. The company last announced in mid-October that it was entering the pet CBD market.

BioCardia

BioCardia, a company that is developing regenerative biologic therapies to treat cardiovascular and respiratory disease, had the biggest breakdown today after falling 16.63% from US$4.27 to US$3.56. Just a few days ago, the company announced a $10.5 million registered direct offering.

“BioCardia. . . today announced it has entered into definitive agreements with investors for the purchase and sale of 2,038,836 shares of its common stock at a purchase price of $5.15 per share in a registered direct offering priced at-the-market under Nasdaq rules.”
