“As expected, the Data Monitoring Committee (DMC) remains supportive of our program with no safety concerns regarding the design and protocol of the study,” said Dr. James Pennington, Chief Medical Officer of AzurRx BioPharma. “Due to enrollment in the initial crossover trial being ahead of schedule, we are given an opportunity to thoroughly explore optimal doses and capsule types that will help guide our future development plans for MS1819 in a Phase 3 program. In the meantime, we will continue our preparation for a successful FDA meeting later this year.”

Labrador Gold

Labrador Gold, a Canadian based mineral exploration company focused on the acquisition and exploration of prospective gold projects in Eastern Canada, had one of the biggest breakdowns of the day, falling 8.54% from C$0.41 to C$0.38. Yesterday, the company announced new high-grade assay results.

“These new assay results confirm we have a robust high-grade gold target at Big Vein,” said Roger Moss, President and CEO of Labrador Gold. “Significant assays in rock samples now outline at least 100m strike along Big Vein, with some high-grade samples displaying visible gold mineralization similar to that seen at New Found Gold’s Queensway project along strike to the southwest. Big Vein is shaping up to be a high priority target for our upcoming drill program.”
