All of us at Pinnacle Digest would like to congratulate the champion of our first Stock Challenge 3.0 contest, long-time member ‘Avispa’! The member of many, many years took home first-place after achieving an average return of 64.86% this month!

While Avispa’s first pick, Imaging 3 Inc. (OTCQB: IGNG) provided him with a solid return of 27% for the month, Avispa’s victory is largely due to his killer pick of Kraig Biocraft Laboratories Inc. (OTCQB: KBLB), a U.S. biotechnology company focused on the development and commercialization of spider silks.

Lighter than cotton but stronger than steel, spider silk continues to grab headlines. Check out The Steel Strength of Featherweight Spider Silk, to learn more.

Kraig boasts that its recombinant spider silk fibers are lighter, stronger, and more flexible than traditional materials. According to the company, it offers unmatched material performance with sustainable and ecological manufacturing practices.

Kraig Biocraft Laboratories soared 100% from the close on the last day of April to the close of trading on May 31st. The stellar performance saw its shares rise from $0.14 to $0.28 on the month. It managed to hit a new 52-week high of $0.49 on May 14, 2019.

Just one-week before hitting its 52-week high of $0.49, Kraig Laboratories Labs signed a new 5-year lease for a production facility in Vietnam. Moreover, the company announced a “breakthrough” in its spider silk production process, just before the end of this month’s challenge on May 30, 2019.

Via Kraig Biocraft Laboratories,

“This breakthrough has powerful ramifications that affect the core of how we develop future spider silk materials,” said COO Jon Rice. “These newly confirmed transgenics mark a revolutionary advancement in capability of our spider silk materials. The new tools developed by Dr. Kane and our research team will allow us to target commercial markets that were not originally on our radar.”
